Opposition’s victory at municipal elections will solve a number of problems, Armenian National Congress party vice chairman, head of ANC parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan told reporters on Thursday. 

Zurabyan noted that opposition’s victory will enable to “destroy the regime,” to weaken its positions and to give the power back to Armenian citizens.

Besides, he said, in case of opposition’s victory there will be a counterbalance in the government system, which will be to the benefit of the people, corruption will decrease, political struggle will become competitive, the authorities and the opposition will start speaking with facts.

According to Zurabyan, ANC will start active campaigning soon including small meetings with residents, and on April 30 it will hold a national rally at Liberty Square.
