Aznews.az: Azerbaijani tales promoting zoophilia, incest and homosexuality
In January 2004, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on mass publications of literary works in Azerbaijani language using the new Latin alphabet. In accordance with the decree signed in 2005, the publishing house "East-West" reissued five-volume book called "Azerbaijani Tales" that was published by the Academy of Sciences in 1963.
As the aznews.az reports, the fairy tales, that were published in the final - the fifth - volume of the collection carry out propaganda of immorality of the Azerbaijani people. Thus, in the fairy tale, "Shah the fire-worshiper" tells about a ruler, who tried to possess his daughter-in-law and his blood daughter. Shah wanted to kill his son to take possession of the latter’s wife, but he did not succeed, and he decided to marry his daughter. "Why should I give you to someone else? I would better keep you for myself," says the hero of the Azerbaijani tale to his daughter.
Another tale, entitled "Unwanted groom" tells about zoophilia and incest: it is about the sexual intercourse between two brothers, and their father’s with cows. Besides that it becomes clear from the fairy tale that all the men of the family enter into a sexual relationship with their mother.
Scenes of perversions and immorality can be found in many fairy tales published in this book. They are written in an open and obscene form. Besides that there is an Armenian carpet on the cover of the book, with Christian symbolisms and ornaments which, however is presented as Azerbaijani.
