ANC MP Hrant Bagratyan skeptical about changes in economic field
"A person is reappointed during whose tenure economy remained almost on the same level instead of growing two-fold over 5 years,” member of Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction Hrant Bagratyan wrote on his Facebook page, commenting on the reappointment of Tigran Sargsyan as PM.
RPA spokesman Edward Sharmazanov said following the meeting of the Republican Party of Armenia Council and Executive Body on Thursday that the Armenian government, like all other governments, is not ideal, but Tigran Sargsyan carried out the President’s assignment on ensuring 7 percent economic growth.
Commenting on Sharmazanov’s statement, Hrant Bagratyan noted, “As for the 7.2 percent growth, it is a bluff. I am ready to meet with Tigran Sargsyan and prove it. It looks like there will be no changes.”
He added that the opposition is given a very small role in this issue.
