Communist Party not to join Raffi Hovannisian
The Communist Party of Armenia will not join the political discussions organized by Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian, the party’s leader Ruben Tovmasyan told a news conference today.
“We disagree with Raffi Hovannisian in many issues, and we think that he will bring no changes. I think they have liberal ideology,” the politician said.
According to Tovmasyan, political forces running in the municipal elections also give similar promises. “It is the time of sweet lies,” Tovmasyan said, adding that during 70 years, the Communist Party did something no other force in the independent Armenia has managed to do so far in order to remain in history.
