Bako Sahakyan paying working visit to France
President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan arrived for a working visit to Paris on April 25.
On the same day, the President laid a wreath at the monument to Komitas in Paris to honor the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The President was accompanied by NKR Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan, Ambassador of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan, head of the Central Information Department of the Artsakh Republic President's Office David Babayan, NKR Permanent Representative to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan and other officials.

A number of issues related to strengthening the Motherland-Diaspora ties and fair representation of the Artsakh issue in France were discussed during the meeting.
President Bako Sahakyan underlined the significance of close cooperation between the diplomatic missions of the two Armenian states in these dimensions, considering it an important precondition for achieving desirable results.
Bako Sahakyan visited the residency of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and met primate Archbishop Norvan Zakaryan.
Issues related to strengthening the Motherland-Diaspora relations, pan-Armenian tasks as well as domestic and foreign policy of Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
Bako Sahakyan rated high the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in maintaining national identity in the Diaspora and cementing ties with the Motherland, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
