Vardan Bostanjyan: Armenian Prime Minister is able to carry out tasks set before him
Armenia’s National Statistical Service clearly presents the situation in all branches of our economy, former Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP, economist Vardan Bostanjyan told reporters on Friday.
According to him, irrespective of the fact that Armenian citizens did not feel it, economic growth was recorded in Armenia in 2012.
“This means that there will be some progress in the future. I do not dare to say that there will be great progress, but I absolutely guarantee that we should move forward. We have no right to retreat,” Bostanjyan said.
Regarding the reappointment of the Armenian Prime Minister, Bostanjyan said that in spite of the fact that there are negative opinions about the government’s activities, he believes that the Prime Minister’s reappointment was a right move and that Tigran Sargsyan is able to carry out the tasks set before him.
The economist added that the new government should give priority to the attraction of investments because economic development can only be achieved through investment.
