Gagik Minasyan: PAP’s words and deeds are at variance
The key political forces participate in the May 5 municipal elections, and these elections will be competitive, which is very important, Republican MP Gagik Minasyan told reporters today.
According to the MP, most of Yerevan residents positively assess the activities of RPA’s candidate, incumbent Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, and will vote for him at the May 5 municipal elections.
“Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) was represented in Yerevan Council of Elders over the past 4 years, and voted for all budgets and draft laws; they supported the political force that had majority in the Council of Elders,” Minasyan said.
Under the current situation, it is difficult to say that this party’s words and deeds are never at variance, according to the Republican MP.
As for the election campaign of Barev Yerevan bloc of parties, Minasyan said that this force should take into account the fact that various political forces participate in these elections, which may influence the election results.
