Bako Sahakyan attends opening of arts center and newly built stadium in Shoushi
On May 3, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan attended the opening ceremony of an arts center in the town of Shoushi and a jubilee exhibition of famous sculptor Nikolai Nikoghosian held in the center.
The President thanked philanthropists Sergey, Karo and Kamo Sargsyans for financing this program and stressed the importance of having an arts center in Shoushi, noting that it will contribute to the cultural development in the city and to strengthening its relations with different cities and countries in this area.
On the same day, the President attended the opening of a newly built stadium in Shoushi. Bako Sahakyan thanked the President of Armenia’s Football Federation for realizing the project, noting the significance of this facility in healthy upbringing of the younger generation.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, other officials, guests from Armenia and abroad attended the events, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
