Political analyst says PAP and ANC could form coalition
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and Armenian National Congress (ANC) could form a coalition as a result of the May 5 municipal elections, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference on Friday. He does not rule out that ARFD could join them.
Even if such alliance is not formed in the coming months, it will be in perspective, the expert said. He thinks it is normal that such alliance can be formed and that it is beneficial for all forces.
“We should not forget that ANC received 7 percent of votes at parliamentary elections, while PAP is the second political force in the country,” Iskandaryan added.
