Iranian presidential candidate: Path chosen by Azerbaijan is at variance with Iran’s interests
The path chosen by Azerbaijan is at variance with Iran’s interests, Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi, director of the National Inspection Organization of Iran, Iranian presidential candidate, was quoted as saying by Arannews.ir.
According to the Iranian website, the presidential candidate commented on Iranian-Azerbaijani relations during a meeting at the University of Tabriz, “The path chosen by Azerbaijan is at variance with Iran’s interests. Azerbaijan fell into the trap of Iran’s and Islam’s enemies and we should help the Azerbaijani people get out of the trap set by Israel.”
