Iranian website: With its policy Turkey incites some groups to separatist actions in Iran
US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has come up with a new initiative on Iran’s Turkish-speaking Azeris and Baluchis, Tabnak.ir reports.
The US Congressman has introduced a resolution to Congress on launching radio and television broadcasts in Iran’s provinces populated by Turkish-speaking Azeris and Baluchis in order to increase American influence and advocate Western values.
The Iranian website says that the Turkish media were especially interested in the American Congressman’s initiative, and actively reported on it.
“It is noteworthy that in the past months, with its policy Turkey has been inciting some groups to separatist actions in Iran. Recently, Turkey even hosted representatives of groups that have anti-Iranian separatist aims,” the Iranian website’s analyst writes.
