Artsrun Hovhannisyan: Policy of torture is peculiar to Azerbaijan
About a month ago, Azerbaijani media reported that an Azerbaijani citizen blew up on a mine on a neutral territory between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spokesman said at a meeting with reporters on Friday that the Azerbaijani citizen was injured when he stepped on a mine, after which Armenian servicemen tortured him to death. Panorama.am asked Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan to comment on this information.
“The policy of torture is peculiar to Azerbaijan. We are unaware of the details of that incident but I can say for sure that Armenian servicemen have nothing to do with the incident described by the media,” Hovhannisyan said.
