The record holder and scorer of two goals in the match vs Tavriya, shared his experiences after the game, according to FC Shakhtar press office. 

- Henrikh, was the 23rd goal of the season amongst the hardest in your career?

- I can say that, yes. I constantly felt the pressure, it was not easy, but I’m grateful to the lads who helped me to score. Thanks to the whole team! I also congratulate the fans and everyone who was waiting for the goal. I hope it’ll get much easier after it.

- In Dnipropetrovsk, you gave the right to score from the spot to Darijo, and today you took it yourself.

- Right, we decided then that the player who could do it better was to score then. So Darijo did it. Today, even before the game, Mister said that I would take a penalty kick if awarded. During the match, when the ref pointed to the spot, I asked Darijo to take it, but he refused - thanks to him!

- What do you make of today’s Tavriya?

- I’d better mention our lads. We have shown how we can play. Today, we acted just as Mister had asked us to – aggressively and fast. Three goals in the first half made it easier, and it got simpler after the break. Everyone saw that we could have scored more, but the scoreline remained 5-0.

- Now, when you’ve scored 24 league goals, is it not so difficult a task any more to break Starukhin’s record?

- If I think about it, it will be hard again.

- So you kind of got stuck on that number?

- If you get stuck, it will get much more difficult. The responsibility is immense. Today, in the first half, I had three scoring chances, I wouldn’t call them clear-cut, but some 60-70% for sure. And I failed to convert them. Probably due to a huge desire to score.

- Do you feel yourself the fact that you’ve set the new Ukrainian league record today?

- Of course, when I entered the changing room and looked at the phone, I immediately felt that! (Laughs) But I haven’t had time to answer anyone’s call yet.

- And how did your teammates congratulate you? They rejoiced over it more than you.

- You've seen? What else can be said? They really rejoiced more than I did, and I'm very pleased at the fact. It's not just my record, but the record of the whole team. All the lads helped me score those 24 goals. God grant we score some more in the remaining two games.
