Armenian Prime Minister meets with World Bank Executive Director
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Executive Director of the World Bank (WB) Frank Heemskerk, government press service reported.
Tigran Sargsyan expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with WB and expressed the hope that the cooperation will further expand in the future.
In this context, the interlocutors discussed the process and possibilities of further expansion of WB-funded projects implemented in Armenia, in particular in the field of agriculture, state administration and local self-government.
Tigran Sargsyan presented Armenia’s economic situation, reforms being implemented in the country and further steps in this direction.
Frank Heemskerk promised to present to the World Bank the Armenian government’s position on expanding cooperation.
