Zhamanak: Ararat governor leaves Armenia
According to Zhamanak daily, governor of Ararat province Edik Barseghyan took a vacation on June 11 and left the country. The paper says that he may have done this deliberately, in view of the fact that major violations were revealed in Ararat province in the program of state assistance to land users for purchase of diesel fuel.
Speaking to Zhamanak, Barseghyan’s spokesman did not name the reason why the governor took a vacation and left the country. He only said that the vacation ends on June 25.
