The number of men who go to tattoo salons to get tattoos on their body increases in summer. 

“As people wear lighter clothes, they want to decorate their body with beautiful tattoos,” director of Tattoo Art Club, tattoo artist, actor Gagik Mkrtchyan told our correspondent.

According to him, Tattoo Art Club has an equal number of male and female clients.

“Nowadays we create very beautiful tattoos and therefore tattoos are beginning to become more and more attractive for people,” Mkrtchyan said.

Gagik himself has no tattoos on his body, but considers that all his works belong to him. “So I have very many tattoos,” he said.

What has changed in the course of time? The tattoo artist said that nowadays less people want common tattoos.

“There are many people who take tattoos very seriously, they take them as art and want to have original images on their body,” the specialist said.

One thing has remained unchanged - men still prefer to get tattoos on their shoulders or back, while women have no such limitations and get tattoos on various parts of their body, Mkrtchyan said.

As for prices, they vary depending on the size and complication of the image, the tattoo artist said without elaborating.
