Cristiano Ronaldo: I miss United but I play for Real Madrid, the best team in the world
Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo made a shocking admission while on a recent charity mission to Singapore, stating that he is missing the Premier League less and less, while favouring La Liga.
While speaking to children in Singapore, Ronaldo admits that Manchester United holds a special place in his heart, but is only focused on Real Madrid.
“Yes, I miss English football, they were the best years of my career when I was at Manchester United. Everyone knows that Manchester United are always in my heart, but now my life is in Spain. I’m enjoying playing there and part of my life is there. Nobody can predict the future, but I’m very happy in La Liga.”
Cristiano went on to confirm that he is only thinking of Real Madrid and is unfazed by Barcelona’s signing of Brazilian starlet, Neymar.
“I’m only thinking about my team, Real Madrid and I don’t care if they sign one, two, three or four players, it doesn’t affect me. They’ve already bought a great player (Isco) and Barcelona have an excellent team, but I play for Real Madrid, the best team in the world. I’m playing with the best players in the world and for that reason, it doesn’t really matter who Barcelona sign. I’m only thinking of my team, Real Madrid.”
