Azerbaijani Defense Ministry fails to utter President Ilham Aliyev’s name
During the opening ceremony of the international football competitions among the armed forces held in Azerbaijan, Defense Minister Safar Abiyev delivered a speech in which he made a mistake, a video of which has spread in social networks like lightning, writes "Bloguxeber.com."
According to the website, the head of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan failed to correctly pronounce the name of the commander in chief, President Ilham Aliyev, mispronouncing it as "Abiyev." After that, the minister hurriedly looked at the piece of paper with the text and corrected himself.
