Nalbandian hails progress in Armenia-EU cooperation
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with visiting European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
Minister Nalbandian said that considerable progress has been recorded in Armenia-EU cooperation in recent years, and expressed gratitude for EU’s assistance to the reform process in Armenia.
The two discussed the ongoing negotiations within the Eastern Partnership framework. Mr Füle stressed that Armenia is among the leading countries of Eastern Partnership, and confirmed EU’s commitment to continue assisting the Armenian reform process.
Nalbandian and Füle will continue their discussions at a working supper.
