Aurelia Grigoriu in interview with Azerbaijani media entangled in her own lies
Situation around discredited Ombudsman of Moldova Aurelia Grigoriu remains tense due to her persistent refusal to acknowledge her mistake and admit that she misleads the public by spreading misinformation.
Grigoriu is lying in her speech in the parliament, and at a press conference in Moldova, and in an interview with Azerbaijani media which she generously began to distribute immediately upon her arrival in Moldova.
For example, in an interview given to Azerbaijani news agency “Vesti.az”, Grigoriu says that threats against her were spread only on her Facebook page, "There were no crowds surrounding the hotel where I was staying. No one demanded my punishment. The Armenians demanded to take a revenge of me on my Facebook page. "
However, apparently realizing that it is almost impossible to prove the authorship of the Armenians on the Internet, Grigoriu said in interview with APA, "They rang me to my hotel room, and threatened me on the phone saying they will take me out of the room by pulling of my hair, and then they will sort it out with me."
Then we watch the interview to the Azerbaijani agency “1news.az”, where Grigoriu, to make things more convincing, adds to the callers to her room unknown people who broke to her hotel room. “Moreover, I should mention that while I was still in the hotel, some people tried to break into my room, however the hotel employees blocked them. I am grateful to the hotel employees who adequately secured my safety,” said Girgoriu.
By the way, in an interview to the same «Vesti.az», Ms. Ombudsman tells that around the hotel was the police, which, according to her, was there to protect her. While to “1news.az’, she sings a completely different song: “The Armenian authorities left me to the circumstances of chance in a foreign country….. In spite of various threats towards me the Armenian authorities were simply inactive”.
It is also interesting that at the time when she was supposedly threatened in her personal messages in Facebook, Grigoriu was calmly commenting under the statuses of her colleague to instigate anti-Armenian hysteria, chief editor of the newspaper “News expert” Lora Veveriza and had not uttered any word about threats to her life. Interestingly, on the front-page of this newspaper one can see extensive interviews of Azerbaijan’s ambassador in Moldova and ordered propagandistic materials about the Aghdam’s events of 1992.
