Serzh Sargsyan meets with Romanian Economy Minister
President Serzh Sargsyan met Tuesday, July 9, with Romanian Economy Minister, Co-Chair of the Armenian-Romanian intergovernmental commission Varujan Vosganian.
The President welcomed Varujan Vosganian and his delegation which participated in the works of the Fourth Session of the Armenian-Romanian intergovernmental commission in Yerevan. Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that this visit of Minister Varujan Vosganian, the session of the intergovernmental commission and the Armenian-Romanian Business Forum will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral economic relations. President Sargsyan underscored that in Armenia, we highly value Varujan Vosganian’s efforts and contribution to the development of Armenian-Romanian relations as well as to the preservation of the Armenian heritage in Romania.
The Minister of Economy of Romania spoke with satisfaction about the session of the intergovernmental commission conducted in Yerevan and contacts of the representatives of the business communities of the two countries. He underlined that there exists a great potential for the development of the Armenian-Romanian economic cooperation in different areas and it is necessary to utilize that potential for the benefit of the two countries and peoples, presidential press service reported.
