Haykakan Zhamanak: Bankrupt Prosperous Armenia MP to leave Armenia
Prosperous Armenia Party MP Tigran Stepanyan, who is facing serious problems in his business, has told his close people that he is planning to emigrate from Armenia. Stepanyan was declared bankrupt by the Cassation Court. The point is that the Prosperous Armenia MP got a credit from VTB Bank and did not fulfill his liabilities. In late 2012, VTB filed a lawsuit demanding to declare Stepanyan a bankrupt.
The MP earlier denied having received a credit. Yesterday, he could not be reached on the phone, with his mobile number no longer existing. Haykakan Zhamanak quotes Stepanyan’s relatives as saying that he is in a ‘deep depression.’
