‘Day of silence’ in Proshyan ahead of mayoral election
Proshyan village of Armenia’s Kotayk province observes ‘day of silence’ today ahead of the mayoral election that will take place tomorrow, July 14.
Three candidates run for Proshyan mayor: deputy head of Proshyan administration, ARFD member Vova Sahakyan, Republican Arthur Muradyan and non-partisan Alexan Alexanyan who works as a senior specialist at the ‘State Extra-departmental Expertise of Projects’ company.
Proshyan mayor Hrach Muradyan was murdered on April 2. He was shot near the village administration office.
