OSCE Chairperson-in-Office urges Minsk Group to intensify activities
The negotiation process should be supported at the highest level, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara told a press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.
“Ukraine supports the OSCE Minsk Group, but we believe that the Minsk Group should intensify its activities because no international conflict has ever been resolved through conferences and meetings. More active work is needed,” Mr Kozhara said.
According to him, civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan should meet frequently and Ukraine is ready to give them a platform for roundtable meetings and discussions. Ukraine is ready to assist liquidation of the consequences of the humanitarian crisis caused by Karabakh conflict, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office said.
