Sharmazanov: Turkey must not interfere in Karabakh settlement
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated at a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov on July 17 that Turkey has always supported and will continue to support Azerbaijan, and is ready to assist the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Deputy Speaker of Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov issued a comment regarding Davutoglu’s statement.
“With today’s statement, Turkey’s Foreign Minister is confirming that his state supports not a fair but a pro-Azerbaijani settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. So, if Turkey is really interested in a speedy settlement of the conflict, then it must do a simple thing – must not interfere in the settlement process,” Sharmazanov said in his statement.
