Bagrat Asatryan: Microbus route owners do not want to lose superprofit
Those who received superprofit will continue to receive it, former MP from Prosperous Armenia Party, economist Vardan Bostanjyan told reporters in Yerevan, when commenting on the increase in public transport fare in Yerevan.
Former chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Bagrat Asatryan commented on the statement of Yerevan Mayor’s Office that the public transport fare should have been increased long ago due to the increase in prices for transport means, car parts, lubricants and diesel fuel. He said, “The calculations made by Yerevan Mayor’s Office justifying the increase in the public transport fare are a mockery of us all.”
“The only goal of microbus route owners is not to lose superprofit,” he concluded.
