Zhamanak: More than 2,000 signatures collected against transportation price hikes
About 200-300 activists organized a demonstration yesterday evening in Yerevan to protest against transportation price hikes that have gone into effect. The protesters were chanting “Pay AMD 100 with a smile,” “Say no to 150."
A signature collection against the transportation fare increase was organized in Northern Avenue yesterday. Mariam Yegoryan, one of the action’s organizers, told Zhamanak that more than 2,000 signatures have already been collected. She added that they will continue the actions until their demands are met.
