Zhamanak: Bus route owners will unlikely agree to reduce transportation fare
Bus route owners will go again to Yerevan Municipality at 11:00 today to present their arguments regarding the bus fare increase and to outline the improvements that will be made in public transport services due to the increase in the transportation fare, Zhamanak reports.
The paper’s sources say that the bus fare is unlikely to be reduced from AMD 150, so the route owners will have to make the people understand that the increase was inevitable. They were offered to discuss the issue and, if possible, to establish some privileges for students or socially vulnerable people. Today’s discussion will make it clear whether or not a change in the fare is possible.
