Zhoghovurd: There is no legal act about transportation fare increase
Citing its sources, Zhoghovurd daily says that there is no legal act about the increase in the transportation fares in Yerevan.
The paper has found out that under the law, the transportation fare can be reviewed based on well-grounded calculations presented by organizations operating transportation routes, with a following presentation of the tender commission and a decision of Yerevan Municipality.
However, Yerevan Municipality has made no decision on the issue. It only gave a verbal consent to the fare increase proposal based on calculations of bus route owners, the paper says, citing its sources.
