Military institute graduates prefer service in Nagorno-Karabakh
A draw will be held today to decide where the graduates of Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute will do their military service, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am.
According to him, deciding the place of graduates’ service through a draw is an efficient method which ensures absolute objectivity and transparency.
“I must note that this year, 90 percent of the institute’s best graduates have voluntarily chosen service at military units of Nagorno-Karabakh. They say that they want to use their knowledge in the sacred mission of ensuring Artsakh’s security and to be useful where they are most needed,” Hovhannisyan said.
