Aravot: ‘Free transportation car’ collides with bus in Yerevan
A car that was transporting passengers for free near Yerevan’s Opera House to Komitas Street and Davitashen district collided with N40 bus while picking up passengers at the bus stop, reports Aravot, whose correspondent was at the scene of the accident.
The bus driver claimed that he was not to blame, and said that the bus stop was envisaged for buses, but not for passenger vehicles. On the other hand, the passenger vehicle was providing route transportation services. The car driver, Ashot Sargsyan, wrote on his Facebook page later that the bus driver admitted his fault, and that the insurance company will pay for the damage inflicted to the bus. No one suffered in the accident.
