MasterPeace movement in Armenia: Building peace through culture
On September 21, 2014, the MasterPeace movement plans to gather in one place musicians from all around the world, uniting – through art – millions of people around the idea of peace, representative of MasterPeace Armenia, Arshaluys Gasparyan, told Panorama.am.
Gasparyan noted that representatives from 40 countries, including Armenia, will participate in the concert, which aims to show that conflicting countries can communicate by means of culture.
The MasterPeace movement has clubs in more than 40 countries worldwide. Its Armenian club was opened in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri. The movement has done considerable work in Shirak province since the club’s opening in 2012, the movement’s representative said.
MasterPeace is an International grassroots peace movement with the objective to inspire everyone to use his or her talent and energy for building peace and togetherness. This will lead to a more sustainable world with less armed conflict.
The MasterPeace movement supports and encourages all ideas and projects in favor of peace building.
