Haykakan Zhamanak: Proshyan village head has not yet signed resignation applications
Head of Proshyan village, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Arthur Muradyan has not yet signed the applications for resignation submitted by 13 village administration employees, Haykakan Zhamanak says.
According to the paper, Muradyan is waiting for the expiry of a 3-day deadline stipulated by the Labor Code of Armenia. Under Article 112 of the Labor Code, an employee has the right to withdraw an application for termination of his labor contract no later than within 3 working days. After the mentioned term expires, an employee may withdraw his application only with the consent of the employer.
“Proshyan village head still hopes that some employees may change their mind and withdraw applications,” the paper says.
