International Sambo Tournament to kick off tomorrow in Yerevan
Sambo Federation of Armenia, in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency Yerevan Office and with the sponsorship of Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, will hold the 4th International Sambo Tournament in memory of twice Hero of the Soviet Union, legendary pilot Nelson Stepanyan on August 2-4 in Yerevan, the press service of Rossotrudnichestvo Yerevan Office reported.
The tournament’s opening ceremony will take place at ‘Ashkhatank’ sports house on August 3.
The tournament will host sambo athletes from Armenia, Artsakh, Russia (Saratov, Rostov, Krasnodar) Greece, Georgia, Lithuania and Romania.
The tournament’s sponsors are VTB Bank Armenia and the South Caucasus Railway Company.
