Yerevan mayor sees no grounds for resignation of transport officials
Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan sees no grounds for the resignation of transport officials despite the ongoing sit-in outside Yerevan Municipality, Azatutyun Radio reported.
Activists of initiative ‘We Pay AMD 100’, who have been holding a sit-in outside Yerevan Municipality for the 12th day already, demand the resignation of director of the Yerevantrans Company, Misak Hambardzumyan, and head of Yerevan Municipality’s Transport Department, Henrik Navasardyan. The protesters consider that those officials violated the law while carrying out their official duties.
“I will revise the situation of those officials who will not carry out their duties properly. But as for the present, they work properly,” Taron Margaryan told Azatutyun Radio.
