Defense Ministry: Armenia-Azerbaijan border situation less tense now
Azerbaijan keeps on violating the ceasefire, but not so intensively as earlier this month, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am.
Commenting on reports from border villages that Azerbaijan hinders agricultural works, Artsrun Hovhannisyan said, “Certainly, shots are heard constantly, but their intensity is incomparable with that of the shots recorded on August 4-6.”
Last week, 4 Armenian soldiers were injured as a result of Azeri provocations, mostly by sniper fire.
