Azerbaijani soldier in Armenia expressed wish to return to Azerbaijan
On 15th of August First Deputy Minister of Defence of Armenia Mr. Davit Tonoyan held a regular meeting with the International Committee of the Red Cross delegate in Armenia Ms.Dragana Rankovich.
Ms.Rankovich informed that according to the information from the ICRC office in Baku “they are confident that they will soon get the date of the visit with Hakob Injighulyan”.
On his part D.Tonoyan informed the ICRC delegate that FiruzFaragev, the Azerbaijani serviceman who is kept in Armenia has changed his intention and expressed a wish to return back to Azerbaijan. He also requested meetings with representatives of international humanitarian organizations in Armenia.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia urgesimpartial humanitarian organizations, the ICRC in particular to meet with Farajev.
The ICRC took note of the information.
There is no information about Hakob Injighulyan, Armenian soldier who was captivated by the Azerbaijani side on August 8. Panorama.am was told by the ICRC Yerevan office that the ICRC Baku office cannot get the chance to meet the soldier.
