Several graphics and paintings by Ara Bekaryan to be presented to public for the first time
Jubilee exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of popular artist Ara Bekaryan is to be opened in National Gallery on August 23. The exhibition consists of graphics and paintings of the artist. Most of them is family property and is presented to public for the first time, reports the press service of the National Gallery to Panorama.am.
On occasion of the jubilee exhibition Ara Bekaryan’s book of his works has been published which gives a complete picture about the art of the artist.
He has drawn portraits, landscapes, still lifes. The village life has attracted him most. He has depicted it in simple touches without ethnographic details.
