Aravot: Participation in air carriers’ tender is a ‘matter of honor’ for Air Armenia
A tender to choose Armenian air carriers will probably take place in 1-2 months. Standards are currently being developed for the tender, in which 3 winning local airlines will be granted the right to operate flights in 14 directions.
Air Armenia company is set to participate in the tender. Company’s CEO Arsen Avetisyan told Aravot that it will be difficult to work in the airline market and to compete with foreign giants, but “it is a matter of honor for the company to participate in the tender.”
