Hraparak: Newly built Armenian church to open in Moscow Sept. 17
A newly built Armenian church will be inaugurated in Moscow on September 17. The construction of the church started in 2008. This can be said to be the biggest project of Bishop Ezras Nersisyan, Primate of the Diocese of New Nakhichevan and Russia, the brother of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
According to Hraparak daily, the Armenian community of Moscow plans to hold a grand opening ceremony, to be attended by senior Russian officials and prominent representatives of the Armenian community.
“The Armenian community hopes Ezras Nersisyan will be promoted to Archbishop following the realization of this project,” the paper adds.
