Azerbaijani Kurds quarreled because of 5000 dollars
Members of Kurdish society “Ronahi” in Azerbaijan made a decision to dismiss their chairman Fahraddin Pashayeva. According to the Azerbaijani portal "Haqqin.az", the member of this society, Namik Nasibov who became famous for his photos in T-shirt with the image of the leader of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan, said that the scandal arose after the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan allocated 5000 euros to Kurdish cultural Society “Ronahi”.
According to the project submitted to Ministry of Tourism and Culture, the community was planning to pass a concert of Kurdish singer Dzhavanshira Sharon and held an exhibition of Kurdish national dresses in Baku. However, according to Namik Nasibov, Fahraddin Pashayev appropriated the money. He noted that Fahraddin Pashaev allocated money only for the organization of the concert of Kurdish singer and spent 1500 euros on it. After he became outraged with Fahraddin Pashaev, his infamous photos appeared in the network, and he got arrested for 10 days.
Namik Nasibov also reported that Fahraddin Pashaev illegally entered the organization's office located at Narimanov district of Baku and held an illegitimate meeting. Namik Nasibov and other members of the community have appealed to the Narimanov district police regarding the illegal activities of Fahraddin Pashaeva.
Early in August the police of Narimanov District had arrested Azerbaijani National Hero Kamil Nasibov’s son, Namik Nasibov, who staged the image of the leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Abdullah Ocalan’s photo on his t-shirt. According to media reports, the police questioned Namik Nasibov trying to figure out why he propagandizes the leader of the "terrorist organization." After prophylactic conversation the propagandist was set free. At the end, the police advised him to be smarter next time.
