Japan to open embassy in Armenia
Japan plans to open embassies in 6 countries as well as to expand its diplomatic staff in foreign countries, Gazeta.ru reported, citing Japanese media. According to reports, thus, Japan aims to increase its support to the expansion of Japanese business and its citizens’ security.
Japan’s Foreign Ministry intends to open embassies in Bhutan, Namibia, Marshall Islands, Barbados, Armenia and Turkmenistan. It is expected that Japanese companies will intensify their activities in the indicated countries, according to a Japanese MFA official.
