Artsakh leader discusses Hakob Injighulyan’s matter with Andrzej Kasprzyk
On August 31, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met with Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
Issues related to the current stage of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict settlement negotiations as well as the situation along the border between Artsakh and Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan called a political provocation and speculation the show staged by Azerbaijan around NKR Defense Army serviceman Hakob Injighulyan, who fell into Azerbaijani captivity, underscoring that it violates norms and principles of morality and international law. The President underlined that such policy jeopardizes the conflict's peaceful settlement and within this context noted the importance of a corresponding reaction by the international community, the presidential press service reported.
