Anonymous: Azerbaijani state official spends public funds in boutiques of Dubai
After the hacker group “Anonymous” hacked the site of Azerbaijan's energy giant JSC "Azerenergy", 80 documents of different degrees of importance appeared in the network. The travel allowance of one of the employees of "Azerenergy ", whose name is not yet published, is of greatest interest, the Azerbaijani portal "Haqqin.az" says.
"Thus, his trip to Dubai cost the "Azerenergy" company and, consequently, the country’s state budget a tidy sum," the portal writes.
The article presents a list of embezzlements of the state official. The list includes a room in one of the luxurious hotels in Dubai, which had cost the state budget $327 per night, a dinner at an elite restaurant costing $1127, checks for purchases in Louis Vuitton, IF boutique, Harvey Nichols, Falcon Gallery, etc. boutiques to the sum of $20,000, business class car renting, etc.
Commenting on the statement of "Haqqin.az" correspondent on the fact that "Azerenergy" documents appeared in the network, deputy chief of the press service of the agency Alekper Bakhshaliyev said that an investigation on this information leakage is being carried out by the order of the head of "Azerenergy" Etibar Pirverdiyev, the results of which will be announced to the public.
Commenting on the expenditure of the company’s employee on a business trip in Dubai, he said he did not know who the documents refer to.
According to the portal, this government official is an employee of a subsidiary of "Azerenergy", owned by Vugar Pirverdiyev, the younger brother of the president of "Azerenergy" Etibar Pirverdiyev known as the owner of the "Shahdagh" football club.
Earlier hacker movement “Anonymous” announced about successful hacking of Azerbaijani energy giant - “Azerenergy” JSC. As a result of it 80 important documents appeared in the public domain, reports Securitylab portal. The representatives of “Anonymous” posted links to archive files with a total of 7 GB. The hackers also noted that they did not approve of the policy carried out by the Azerbaijani government.
