Iravunk: Prosperous Armenia open for cooperation
Armenian National Congress (ANC) party’s leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced recently that ANC should become an alternative political force, according to Iravunk daily. Perhaps this idea emerged after he understood that the party fails to play the role of an opposition force, the paper says.
Iravunk’s correspondent talked about it with Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan, who said: “PAP has always said that it is open for cooperation with those political forces that represent certain parts of the people if that cooperation is meant to serve interests of Armenian citizens, if it is in the state and national interest, if we do not have moral contradictions based on principle and if there is an exact agenda.”
