Orders for Versace to be sewed in NKR; Azerbaijan has already thrown a fit and demands expulsion of Italian company of country
"We believe that the decision of Versace on opening its office in Nagorno-Karabakh is politically motivated," said Akif Nagi, the chairman of "Organization for Liberation of Karabakh" established in Baku, the Azerbaijani portal "Haqqin.az" reports.
According to Nagi, if it is confirmed that Versace will work in the NKR, "it will be necessary to immediately expel this company from Azerbaijan and close its stores."
"We must demonstrate our conceptual disposition to all foreign companies which try to establish relations with the separatist regime," he said.
As the portal notes, today the Armenian media quoting Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, disseminated information that the Italian company Versace plans to open an office in the NKR.
Today the Deputy Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Aghabekyan stated that the Italian company is going to sew orders for Versace in Karabakh. He reminded that the government of Nagorno-Karabakh is planning to create a cluster of light industry. At present in the place of the former silk factory of Karabakh the production of woolen yarn and garments is being promoted, as well as the handmade carpets.
