In March of the current year Sh.G a resident of Bolnis region in Georgia turned to Baku Hospital after Melikov. As a result of medical examination it was revealed that the 13-year-old girl was pregnant. After the police interrogation it was revealed that the father of the child is a member of Azerbaijani parliament.

One of the doctors of the hospital told the “Pia.az”, that the chief doctor of the maternity ward Perry Abbasova had instructed them to conceal the incident. Doctors refused to terminate the girl’s pregnancy because of the possible severe consequences for her health.

The MP, in his turn, is in agreement with the police for hiding his guilt. Azerbaijani media in the hospital are told that the girl has got a family now and attends the hospital for medical examination accompanied by her husband and mother-in-law. However, as the source of the site notes, this information does not correspond to reality: MP uses any kind of pressure on the girl's family, and has received their word to exclude and further complaints for a large sum of money.
