“The negotiation process will have a constructive route only if Azerbaijan stops its destructive approaches and demonstrates willingness to make mutual concession,” told Gagik Melikyan, the RPA council member, to Panorama.am commenting to the question how to be when even the mediators confess that the NKR negotiation process is in a deadlock.

According to him it is because of Azerbaijan that the negotiations are at a deadlock and Azerbaijan should show its willingness to come out of that situation.

G. Melikyan answered the question what the expectations from the US president’s message are, and noted, “One of the most importants steps of the Negotiation process should be the full return of Artsakh to the negotiation table. It is rather hard to have serious expectation without that. Let’s hope that the US co-chair will put all his efforts in solving this issue.”
