GeoProMining develops cultural ties between Russia and Armenia
GeoProMining, a diversified international mining group (GPM or the Company), together with the Armenian Ministry of Culture has organized a concert by young Russian pianist Eduard Kunz. On September 21 – The Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia – Eduard Kunz will perform with the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra under the guidance of conductor and artistic director Eduard Topchan at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan. GeoProMining actively supports cultural projects as part of its social corporate responsibility programme Resources for Good.
The concert will begin with the national anthem of Armenia and include world classics and music by prominent Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. GeoProMining prepared an intensive agenda for the world famous artist: in addition to the gala concert Eduard Kunz will hold a master class for students of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. The pianist is excited both to perform for the sophisticated audience of music admirers and share his professional secrets with the young musicians.

GeoProMining traditionally supports development of cultural ties between Russia and Armenia. For instance, the company provides funding for the Stanislavsky Russian Drama Theatre in Yerevan, which is a popular stage for performances by Russian and Armenian playwrights. GeoProMining also promotes the use of the Russian language in Armenia, the company’s press service reports.
