On September 24, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan attended opening ceremony of the new complex of the Republican Medical Center, the presidential press service reports. 

According to the President, the work of the state’s central medical institution will give a qualitatively new impetus to the health care development in Artsakh, to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

Bako Sahakyan thanked national philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan for constructing a new complex of the Republican Medical Center, stressing that it was the best manifestation of patriotism and devotion to the native people.

Second President of NKR Arkady Ghoukasyan, RA National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, Primate of the Artsakh diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, speaker of NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, NKR Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan, member of the British Parliament’s House of Lords Baroness Caroline Cox, officials from Artsakh and Armenia and numerous foreign guests attended the ceremony.
